Part 1 of 3 State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District) recently was a guest on Cablevision’s “Meet the Leaders,” a program that goes one on one with local officials and explores the people, policies, and issues which are responsible for directing the future of our communities. On the show, Senator Fuschillo talked with host Pat Halpin about the record amount of state education aid for Long Island schools as part of the state budget, his efforts to strengthen drunk driving laws in New York State, the $54.5 million in state funding he secured for improvements at Farmingdale State College, and legislation he is sponsoring to improve mental health care for veterans returning from overseas combat.
